Join us for this unique exploration of the iconic parliamentary buildings, focussing on the diverse artworks and objects that adorn their walls and spaces.
Led by the Curator of the Parliamentary Collection, Natasha Fernandez, this tour is the perfect way to get to know the hidden gems of the collection and see some of Aotearoa's most significant artworks by leading artists, past and present. During your 1 hour and 45 minute tour, you’ll learn about the history and development of the Collection as well as behind-the-scenes stories, curatorial insights, and future plans and projects.The tour ends with a visit to Te Papakura Art gallery — Parliament's dedicated exhibition space in the Beehive.
Due to limited Curator availbility, our Curator-led tours are only available for groups of 5 - 20 art enthusiasts to explore the Parliamentary Collection. Important information for visiting Parliament
Tickets for this event are per-person. If there are not enough spaces remaining for your entire group on the tour you have chosen, you will need to select another time or date. Bookings larger than 10 people will need to contact us to book a private tour.
For all tours of Parliament, you need to arrive 15 minutes in advance of your tour start time to allow for security screening processes. Tours have a pre-tour video that begins 5 minutes before the stated tour start time. If you do not arrive before the stated start time of your tour, your space(s) may be given away.
All children (under 12 years old) must be accompanied by an adult, with no more than four children per adult.
